Centro Tecnològico de Automacion de Galicia

The Centro Tecnológico de Automoción de Galicia (CTAG) is a private, non-profit R&D technological automotive centre devoted to support the automotive industry in its research, development and innovation needs. CTAG is present in all different stages of production processes, from initial, advanced research to the product launch. The fields of competence where CTAG concentrates its activities are Safety, Manufacturing process and new materials, Environment, Electronics and ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) as well as HMI.

Role in the project

CTAG’s Electronics Division is composed by a multidisciplinary team of experienced engineers, technicians and specialists, working in the following areas: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving, Communication and mobility (including cooperative systems), HMI, Electronic Architecture and Testing and Validation.

This group has the necessary experience to deal with the development of ecoDriving strategies and feedback, with the preparation of ITS research prototypes for demonstration purposes, and with the organization of the real world trials and data analysis. Indeed, CTAG will participate in the in-vehicle systems integration and in the evaluation of the innovative technologies.
